KUL – Hanoi (AA) Hanoi – Hoi An (train) Hoi An – Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam Airlines) HCMC – KUL (AA)
Xin chao from Hanoi!
Sedang menapak 1km sebab pakcik drebar minibus menipu turunkan tempat yg salah.
Tapi best juga dapat tengok kehidupan harian rakyat tempatan di Old Quarter. — at Hồ Hoàn Kiếm - Hà Nội.
First order of the day. Vietnamese Coffee!
I tried the famous egg coffee (cà phê trứng) with egg yolk in it. Of courselah sedapkan.
Cafes and eateries are everywhere here. This is at the famous Cafe Giang on Nguyen Huru Huan. We had to go through a very tiny alley to the back and went up the stairs to find locals sitting on tiny stools enjoying coffees. — at Cafe Giảng.
Sebelum further meround, we need to secure the tix for the next leg. Trip ni kononnya sebagai persediaan kepada Trans Siberia (bilalah agaknya tu kan) where we would ride the 33 hours train from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City. Hanoi Train Station (Ga Hanoi).
Edisi jalan2 Hanoi kali ini ditemani oleh 2 volunteers from Hanoi Free Tour Guides organization. Annie & Lam are two college girls wanting to practice their English with us.
They showed us around. We went to Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh Complex etc. Help us with the train tix, sim card. Took us to the best cafe and restaurant in town.
Thank you so much Annie & Lam. We had so much fun. You saved us time and all the touristy hassles.
We went for the 1 day tour to Halong Bay, one of the new 7 wonders of nature. The tour was nice and fun but by the time we arrived back at the hotel after 12 hours, agak pengsan!
I am more kagum with the clean green water (Vietnam is super clean!) rather than the limestones islands (but still prettylah).
Lepas row row row your boat, pergi pula Thien Cung Cave. Naik bukit dengan very steep tangga masuk gua yg penuh stalagtites & stalagmites.
Macam2 ada dalam tu: singa, naga, kangaroo, ular, perempuan sexy, santa clause, kalenjar susu ibu, organ pembiakan lelaki kah kah. Rajin betul org sini mencari persamaan ?
Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Ready for the start of our non stop 15 hours train journey.
Tak jadi nak buat non-stop 33 hrs Hanoi-HCMC. We'll take a 2 nights break in Hoi An instead. — travelling to Da Nang, Vietnam with Siti Rodiah from Hanoi Train Station (Ga Hanoi).
The reason we took the Reunification Express train eventhough plane is cheaper and 15x faster is because of the breathtaking views between Hue and Da Nang. — at HUẾ - ĐÀ NẴNG.
The route between Hue and Danang is known as the Hai Van, or Ocean Cloud Pass.
And.. after 15 hours we've finally arrived! The train experience was not bad at all. Ala2 penat naik AirAsia je (but the train has bigger leg room) — at Hải Vân Pass.
Good morning Hoi An!
Breakfast of Chuoi Va Kem - crispy fried banana tempura with ice cream. — in Hoi An Old Quarter ( Phố Cổ Hội An ).
Aktiviti wajib hanya di negara orang. — in Hội An.
Hoi An is an old town with Unesco world heritage status. Rows of old houses turned souvenior shops and cafes lined the streets. So, kita layaaaaan.... — at Hoi An Ancient City.
Aktiviti malam di Hoi An.
Jalan2 tengok lanterns. — in Hoi An Old Quarter ( Phố Cổ Hội An ).
Us with Van, our free guide from Saigon Hotpot, in front of iconic Saigon Central Post Office. Another lovely college kid showing us the rare sights of Ho Chi Minh City. The best part is sipping Vietnamese coffee at a very traditional old coffee shop. She said we are the best tourists she has taken around coz we are the only ones yang tak mintak nak gi shopping ?. But she also said our excessive selfies are exhausting! Haha. So, good bye Vietnam. Thank you for the hospitality! at Saigon Central Post Office
