It is important for students to always keep track of their grades. Often students who don’t do well in a course don’t keep track of their grades. Students with good GPAs area always looking out after their grades progress. Students with bad GPAs don’t seem to know their grades. Sometimes they don’t even bother to pick up their test papers!
When you know how you are doing, you can focus on subjects you need help the most. If you don’t know how you are doing in your classes you are more likely to be stressed. You might not know that you’re doing bad and by the time you figure your grade out it’s too late to get help or improve that grade. Asking for help after you have submitted the final exam paper or even worse, when the grades are out, are useless! Keeping track of your grades from the start of the semester is important.
