Just finished my first week of class. I’ve been teaching first year students these past years. These batch looks ok. Active and responsive.
I have been wanting to try to teach without slides but never actually tried it but in the end today, I accidentally manage to do that. The PC in the lab can’t open power point file. The notes are missing from my dropbox. I couldn’t open the google drive.

So, no slides. Just rely on the text book and me actually talking and writing and drawing on the white board. But the class went smoothly. I’m never one to rely on slides very much anyway. Slides for me are just guidelines. I write more on white board or lecture with things not on slides.
That’s google search results on the screen. I asked the students to google what’s after Terabyte. Oh it’s nice to see that the students only had the e-learning websites and not other pages.
So, lets continue this with other classes and see the results.
