Selaku Associate Member Building Information Modeling Research Group dan ‘General Manager’ tidak rasmi 😂😂😂, saya telah terjebak dengan mesyuarat hari ini di MYBIM Center, Kuala Lumpur bersama PM Dr Kherun Nita Ali.
BIMCDIS, UTM dalah salah satu Satellite Center BIM CIDB yang menjalankan latihan dan akredetasi BIM. MOU akan diperbaharui tahun ini dan adalah KPI baru yang perlu dicapai. Inshaa Allah we can!

Mesyuarat WANGI 1/2020
Apakah WANGI?
WANGI merupakan Persatuan Wanita Teknologi di Universiti Teknologi Malysia yang telah ditubuhkan pada tahun 1994. Ahli-ahli WANGI terdiri daripada kakitangan wanita UTM dan isteri kakitangan UTM. Persatuan sukarela ini bergiat dalam aktiviti-aktiviti kebajikan, kesihatan, pendidikan dan kemasyarakatan.
Untuk Staf UTM, sekiranya anda adalah ahli WANITA Badan Kebajikan Staf (BAKES) UTM, secara automatik anda adalah ahli Wanita Teknologi (WANGI), UTM.
Mesyuarat telah dipengerusikan oleh YBhg Prof Dr Durrishah Idrus selaku Timbalan Yang Di Pertua 1 WANGI. Agenda utama mesyuarat pada hari ini adalah bagi membincangkan Mesyuarat Agung Tahunan yang akan dijalankan pada bulan Mac serta perancangan aktiviti-aktiviti yang akan dijalankan pada tahun 2020.
Mesyuarat dijalankan di Bilik Syndicate 4 di Bangunan Canseleri Sultan Ibrahim dari jam 2.30 hingga 5.00 petang.
Sam Song and his Masters Thesis : Finally done!
I can still remember we met at the Knowledge Management Lab at Level 4, N28, School of Computing.
That time, Sam eagerly explained to me about his passion about diet and food. Interestingly, it is not diet for losing weight which we normally do. But it is about motivating people to have appetite to eat! This is totally different from our context in Malaysia where we Over Eat! 😂
Sam is from Ghana. Due to his interest in motivating people to eat, he has created a FB Page named Goodness of Life sharing pictures of food.
On the other hand, I was proposing a topic related to Intermittent Fasting.
After three semesters of conducting research, this is the outcome, a dissertation titled “Design of Gamified Intermittent Fasting Mobile Application Prolong Use”.
The Abstract of Sam’s research can be found here : [Abstract]. He has also presented a paper at the 6th International Conference on Research and Innovation in Information Systems (2019). The paper is awaiting to be published this year by IEEE.

An Achievement
I got an email today noticing me this.
I hope that the research articles published with my students can benefit others.
This is a good marketing strategy. While reading the email, I am wondering who the ‘highly followed author’ is. Not sure if I should upgrade to the Premium version of Academia.edu. Will hold it for the moment.
