Mr Mohd Zamri Ramli obtained his Bachelor of Civil Engineering in 1999 and M.Eng in 2003 from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in the area of Seismic Isolation. He started his academic career in 1999 as Tutor in UTM and currently he is a Lecturer at Faculty of Civil Engineering since 2003.
Mr Mohd Zamri Ramli is a Senior Research Fellow of Engineering Seismology and Earthquake Engineering Research Group (e-SEER) and Associate Member of Institute of Noise And Vibration. He has worked in the area of Structural Earthquake Engineering focusing on structural analysis and bridge seismic isolation.
In Research Mr Mohd Zamri Ramli has involved in several projects in earthquake reduction products (i.e. seismic isolation and damper) and Public Works Department bridge bearing funded by Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (Mosti) and Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE).
In Consultancy Mr Mohd Zamri Ramli has involved in Putrajaya Monorail Bridge Analysis (2004), Vulnerability Study of Public Buildings Subjected to Earthquake for Public Works Department (2005), Seismic and Tsunami Hazards and Risks Study in Malaysia for Academy of Sciences Malaysia (2006), Hazard Assessment and Risk Study, Wind, Seismic, Tsunami and Ship Collision Impact for bridge connecting Semporna and Bum Bum Island, Sabah for Public Works Department (2013-2014) and recently as a Seismic Design Independence Checker for New Lahad Datu Prison Project.
Mr Mohd Zamri Ramli expert in analysis using many software such as CSiBridge, ETABS, SAP2000, Multiframe, Ansys and Abaqus. There are some analysis his doing during his current projects.
