My name is Mohd Zamri Ramli. This year is the 21st year of my appointment as a staff at this faculty. I am graduated from UTM in 1999, also holding Master  from this University in the specialised field of Structural Earthquake Engineering. I got my PhD in year 2020 also from Universiti Teknology Malaysia specifically on bridge bearing and isolator and looking into earthquakes performancAcademically I taught Information System in Civil Engineering and Building Information Modelling (BIM) for undergraduate courses. I m also teaching Tall Building and structural dynamic courses for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Beside that I also have the experiance teachning in Structural Laboratory Subject and Computer Programming.

Besides teaching I also have my personal interest in my research and consultantcies. Normally I involved several government project funded by Academic Science Malaysia (ASM), Ministry of Science and Technology Malaysia, Departmnet of Works Malaysia and Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) regarding to Structural Earthquake Engineering, structural vulnerability study and damage study. I am the seismic Independence checker for New Lahad Datu Prison Project and as coordinator for Seismic vulnerability study for public building in Sabah and also Tenaga National Berhad asset Seismic Hazard and vulnerability.
