Kang Myoung Sook is a senior lecturer in the Language Academy, Faculty of Social Science and Humanities, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. She has taught Korean language and Translation studies.

She has also known as an active academician in promoting the Malay language and served more than 20 years as an interpreter and translator in Korean- Malay-English.
