IEEE MICC 2019 has been successfully held at Bangi Resort Hotel, Selangor, on 2 December 2019 until 4 December 2019.
I am one of the committee members for the conference and I was in charged with the tutorial session.
The conference started with 4 tutorial sessions, followed by speeches by keynote speaker on the next day and industrial forum. One interesting fact raised during the forum is that the awareness on Industrial Revolution 4.0 among SMEs in Malaysia is still very low. This means that what we are currently doing in SHYFTE now is totally relevant.
In the evening, technical sessions took place where researchers presented their papers.
Overall I am glad that the conference ran smoothly. The opportunity to be part of the organizing committee again has given me a valuable experience although to be honest, it is a little bit difficult to put 100% commitment in this job due to location constraint.
Nonetheless, I hope IEEE ComSoc/VTS Malaysia will still continue to organize MICC in the future.
