A manifesto for airplane passengers in 2016

Ever since the advent of commercial flight, people have been annoying on planes

But when airlines started cutting costs by cutting economy passengers’ personal space, airplane cabins went from somewhat uncomfortable to basically unbearable.

In 2015 alone, passengers on planes choked other passengers over reclining seats, started drunken brawls, shown themselves to be really racist and ruined flights for everyone onboard.

The airlines aren’t stepping in, so we’re calling it: It’s time for all of us to create a new future for aviation — a future where we don’t dread discovering the person we’ll be sitting next to is a loud-mouthed, smelly, armrest-hogging man-spreader.
