Tim Peake has been busy up at the International Space Station. If he hasn’t been practising his backward rolls, he’s been accidentally calling random people on Earth or tweeting at Elton John — and occasionally getting some science done.
Now, following a special message from Her Majesty wishing the British astronaut a productive mission and safe return, Peake has replied.
He kept things pretty formal and respectful during the minute-long message: “I’m not sure this has ever been said in space before, so I’ll be the first. God save the Queen.”
