LAS VEGAS — Apple isn’t the only company that knows how to build an unbelievably thin and light laptop.
The LG Gram 15, announced at CES on Tuesday, is possibly the world’s lightest 15-inch laptop. At 2.16 pounds, it’s lighter than Apple’s new MacBook Pro — the 15″ version of which weighs 4.4 pounds
The Gram 15 is also thin — 0.6 inches, to be exact — and extremely durable, thanks to its magnesium alloy construction
The 15-inch screen comes with full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution and IPS technology for wide viewing angles. Sixth-generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processors power Windows 10. LG says battery life on the Gram 15 is up to seven hours; there’s also an HD webcam above the screen for crystal-clear videoconferencing. Read more…
