Polaroid Snap+ sticker printer camera is better than the original in every way

LAS VEGAS — The Polaroid Snap only just came out and Polaroid’s already got a new version of its fun sticker-printing camera in the works.

Announced at CES, the Polaroid Snap+ features a handful of improvements that users will definitely appreciate.

The Snap+ looks and works very similarly to the Snap, which earned a 2015 Mashable Choice award and made Mashable’s Best Tech of 2015 list.

The Snap+ still prints photo stickers out on ZINK paper using its built-in ZINK printer, but it’s now more digital camera-like than before. There’s a 3.5-inch touchscreen on the backside so you can see and frame your photos properly (a quibble we had with the Snap, but ultimately forgave). The optical viewfinder is gone and in its place is a flash. There’s a higher resolution 13-megapixel sensor inside, which hopefully means sharper digital photos (another gripe we had with the Snap’s 10-megapixel photos). Read more…
