Amy, Asif Kapadia’s film about the late singer Amy Winehouse, won Best Documentary Feature at the Oscars Sunday — adding another statue to the director’s cabinet following his Bafta win earlier this month.

But not everybody was happy to see the film receive the accolade. Amy Winehouse’s father, Mitch — who’s long been vocal about disapproving of the film — was not impressed at the win, and tweeted his dismay Monday morning UK time.
“Always proud of my baby,” he wrote. “Amy will not get an Oscar though. Just Asif Kapadia. That is what this is all about…Asif. He’s fooled everybody.” Read more…
