This is the best cartoon/NBA mashup since Space Jam.
Barcelona based Vanila BCN, a graphic design studio specializing in illustration and typography projects, created an illustrated series uniting 1980’s cartoon characters with sleek NBA team logos.
Mashable reached out to Roger and Carlos, two members of the Vanila BCN team, to ask about the project
“We both were born in 1983; we wanted to create something to connect people from our generation,” they said via email. “We watched a lot of cartoons during our childhood, it’s just been part of our background. As type lovers, we liked the types used in these cartoons as much as we loved the NBA logos — so we had the idea to mash them up.” Read more…
