After posting wins in Louisiana and Kentucky’s presidential nominating contests, Republican front-runner Donald Trump says it is “probably time” for rival Marco Rubio to drop out of Republican race for president.
The Florida senator finished no better than third in any of Saturday’s primary elections and caucuses. Meanwhile, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz won in Maine and Kansas.
Rubio campaign spokesman Alex Conant told the Associated Press after Trump’s statement at a press conference late Saturday night in West Palm Beach that the billionaire’s call shows he knows Rubio has sway. Read more…
