A large part of China will face a brief but noticeable wave of cold weather this week, with strong winds and snow hitting some parts.
The country’s National Meteorological Center (NMC) said on Monday that most of central and eastern China will see temperatures falling between 6 and 10 degrees Celsius till Friday. It’s issued a blue alert for the cold snap — the lowest on China’s four-tier warning system that goes from red at the most serious, to orange, yellow and blue.
