A real-life high-speed chase in the Mystery Machine? Zoinks!

This past Sunday in Redding, California, a woman evaded the authorities in a brightly colored van painted to resemble the famous Scooby-Doo vehicle.

Redding.com reports that police were initially searching for 51-year-old Sharon Kay Turman because they suspected she violated her probation.

Turman later fled from police — including the California Highway Patrol and Shasta County Sheriff’s Office — at speeds exceeding 100 mph in the 1994 teal and green Chrysler Town and Country minivan. Read more…
