Bernie Sanders was clearly not prepared for this.
The Vermont senator did not seem to expect to find himself beating Hillary Clinton in Michigan’s Democratic primary on Tuesday night, nor did he expect to have to address the media about that.
That much was obvious from the last minute news conference Sanders held standing in front of what looked like some guy’s shed.
“I want our viewers to know what we’re looking at,” said a clearly amused Anderson Cooper before Sanders appeared to speak at the microphone. “This is really the definition of a hastily called news conference — not a lot of signage, no supporters, no personal products.” Read more…
