Other Australian mobile networks are capitalising on Telstra's outages

Poor Telstra. After a series of mishaps with its mobile network, its rivals are taking advantage of the situation to get a free kick against the company.

Its mobile network experienced another outage on Tuesday, following recent downtime last Thursday, and also in February.

Although Tuesday’s outage wasn’t as widespread as the previous incidents, it’s enough reason for other telecommunications companies to take a cheeky crack at Telstra’s recent misfortunes. 

Take Vodafone for instance, who were in the same boat as Telstra back in 2010. Since Tuesday afternoon, their stores now display signs asking passers-by if they were experiencing any troubles with their network, and advertising the company’s network guarantee. Snap. Read more…
