Rosario Dawson was arrested along with dozens of other people during a demonstration on Friday at Capitol Hill.
The brazen Daredevil actress and Bernie Sanders supporter was arrested for crowding and obstruction. Dawson was later fined $50 and released, and will not need to appear before court, The Guardian reports.
The protests were part of a week-long demonstration for the Democracy Spring movement. According to its website, the group demands that “Congress take immediate action to end the corruption of big money in our politics and ensure free and fair elections in which every American has an equal voice.” Read more…
