Wee Irish kids greet 'Star Wars' producers with whistles and accordions

There’s no better way to tell someone you love them than with an accordion.

Students in County Donegal, Ireland recently learned that the next ‘Star Wars’ movie would be filming on their  scenic cliffs, Malin Head. The students were obviously thrilled, so to celebrate their arrival, teacher Caroline Glackin decided to organize a group of them and together a little concert. There were accordions, they were whistles, and yes, there were “little musicians.” 

“As a music teacher in the locality, I wanted something for my little musicians to do. First of all, to welcome the crew but also to advertise our local area and its scenic landmarks as well as our vibrant community spirit,” Glackin told Irish Central. Read more…
