Delhi's first dog cafe will bowl you over with its cute canines

Delhi has just got its first dog café, Puppychino, where dog owners can pamper their pets with delicious food and games, and canine lovers can cuddle with furry visitors and get their fill of puppy kisses.

Puppychino is the brainchild of sisters Naini and Mallika Tandon, who wanted to open a restaurant where dogs could play and get a free run, instead of being leashed or simply not allowed. Its official mascots are the owners’ two pets, Bobo the labrador and Simba the husky, who will be in the café everyday.

“We would feel guilty leaving them behind when we went out for food. The perception towards street dogs in India is digusting,” Mallika Tandon told Mashable. “Through the venture, we want to send the message that they are living beings as well, and they deserve to be treated well.” Read more…
