The drone industry is booming and not just for the companies making the small flying machines.
In Australia alone, experts estimate there is something in the vicinity of 50,000 commercial and recreational drones out there. That’s 50,000 opportunities for one to fly somewhere it shouldn’t, and a new drone enforcement industry is growing to meet the challenge.
DroneShield is one such company, and is among the first cohort to have a commercial product on the market. Although it was founded in 2014 in the U.S., the company hopes to list imminently on the Australian stock exchange. Read more…
