There’s a weight limit of about 2,500 pounds on most elevators, and typically that isn’t something you have to think about.
Of course, when you’re a group of eight linemen on a Division 1 college football team, it can become an issue. This is the lesson learned by eight college athletes from USC, who became stuck on an elevator after exceeding its weight capacity by about 700 pounds.
Luckily for all of us, 6’9″ offensive tackle Zach Banner was one of those athletes.
