A key suspect in the Paris attacks has been transferred from Belgium to France, Belgian and French prosecutors confirmed.
Salah Abdeslam was arrested in Belgium last month after four months on the run. He is wanted by the French for his role in the Nov. 13 attacks in Paris that killed 130 victims.
The Belgium Federal Prosecutor’s Office released a statement saying Abdeslam was delivered to French authorities Wednesday morning under a March 19 European arrest warrant.
The suspect, who arrived at 9:05 a.m. local time in the French capital, will face investigative judges later Wednesday for eventual charges. Read more…
