Daniel Radcliffe recently admitted in an interview with Australia’s The Daily Telegraph that he didn’t know that wage disparity was still such issue in Hollywood — until he read Jennifer Lawrence’s essay in Lenny Letter.
“I’m incredibly glad [gender equality] has come up,” Radcliffe said, “because I had just fucking naively thought this was not an issue anymore because how can this still be happening?”
In an op-ed Lawrence penned last October, she discussed working on American Hustle and being paid less than her male co-stars — and the struggle she felt fighting for equality on set. Read more…
