Comedian Dana Carvey has returned to Saturday Night Live to reprise his role as the overly opinionated Church Lady.
While Church Lady tore into Beyoncé for wearing a dress that looked like a condom at the Met Gala, the main targets of her chat were satan, a.k.a. Ted Cruz, and the Bible-loving Donald Trump.
Cruz, played by Tarran Killam on Saturday Night Live, suspended his White House run this week, making Donald Trump the presumptive Republican nominee. Before he dropped out of the race, former Speaker of the House John Boehner called him “Lucifer in the flesh.” Read more…
