Looks like Castle fans heartbroken over the ousting of Stana Katic won’t have to watch a version of the show without the actress, as ABC has decided to cancel the show, Mashable has confirmed.
The move is somewhat shocking, considering the network ruffled many viewers’ feathers by announcing Katic, who had been with the series from the start, would not be part of Season 9, if the network ordered another season.
The backlash to the announcement, said to be motivated by budget cuts, was swift and loud, with fans using the hashtag #NoStanaNoCastle to air their grief. Read more…
