Indian comedian Vir Das takes on sexist advertising tropes in a new deodorant ad.

Das mimics several popular Indian celebrities in advertisements to demonstrate how they objectify women using props with double entendre. Think suggestive images of bare legs in a bathtub or an actress squeezing a juicy mango. 

Indian advertising remains plagued with sexist storylines and visuals, despite widespread criticism of recent campaigns by companies like Nando’s, Ola and Snapdeal for perpetuating stereotypes.
