Kit Harington wants you to know he’s not just a head of good hair. (OK, great hair.)
The Game of Thrones actor recently spoke with The Sunday Times Magazine and admitted that as a male actor, he has faced sexism and typecasting based on his “look.”
“I like to think of myself as more than a head of hair or a set of looks. It’s demeaning. Yes, in some ways you could argue I’ve been employed for a look I have. But there’s a sexism that happens towards men.”
Harington has been one of the few men who has appeared nude in the HBO show, which has mainly featured female nudity in its six seasons — but has slowly begun changing course after its cast and fans begged to free the penis. Read more…
