SINGAPORE — As proof that Ghostbusters is still relevant more than three decades since it first hit our big screens, hundreds of fans showed up at its Southeast Asia red carpet event on Sunday evening dressed as ghosts.
Not only did the sea of white-clad crowd make for a good photo op, the ghostly gathering at Marina Bay Sands to celebrate the cult classic reboot also helped set a new Guinness World Records title for the “Largest gathering of people people dressed as ghosts at a single venue.”
According to Guinness World Records’ adjudicator, Rishi Nath, a total of 263 people showed up with the iconic “no ghost” motif incorporated into their outfits. Read more…
