The Science Channel wants to show you how to build everything.
Well, at least they’re going to try.
On How to Build … Everything, scientists, experts and other generally smart humans break down the “step-by-step processes behind some of the world’s most complex apparatuses” — from Apache helicopters to hovercrafts — in “a way that armchair engineers and curious minds can follow,” according to the network.
The result is a sort of tongue-in-cheek instruction manual, should you desire to, I dunno, build a ship one weekend.
Speaking of ships, the first episode will show how engineering, clever use of materials, good planning result in these floating wonders of the sea. Read more…
