Twitter is silently rolling out a new feature for precise locations on tweets, so now some users can see where tweets were tweeted from without opening them up for a detailed view.
This feature, first seen by TechCrunch, allows you to tag your tweets with specific locations, like “Mashable HQ” or a nearby store, which are visible to some people as you scroll through your timeline.
If you click on this location, it will pull up a new screen with a map on the top showing a feed of tweets that have come from that location.
This is what the new location feeds look like, with a map on top and tweets tagged with that location underneath.
