Commuting can be the most peaceful or most chaotic part to a person’s day. Whether it is a serene train ride into a city, a hectic ride in the back of cab, or just sitting in traffic for hours, the way we can get to and from our work and other responsibilities sets the tone for our mornings and evenings.
Mashable partnered with photo-sharing community EyeEm to crowdsource a front-row seat to the ways people around the world spend their commutes. What we found was a beautiful diversity in modes of transit, but also striking similarities in images from different parts of the world.
