Amazon brings PBS Kids programming to Prime in push for younger viewers

LOS ANGELES — The streaming service battle to attract younger viewers continues.

On Friday, Amazon announced PBS Kids programming — including Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and new-to-Prime series such as Nature Cat are now available on the platform.

“We’re committed to making Prime Video the best destination for kids and family programming that will both educate and entertain,” Brad Beale, vice president of Worldwide Television Acquisition for Amazon, said in a statement.

The programming line-up includes: Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Arthur, Dinosaur Train, Wild Kratts, Nature Cat, Ready Jet Go! (available Aug. 15) Odd Squad, Peg + Cat, Martha Speaks and WordGirl. Read more…
