Hip-hop artist Hebru Brantley is one striking example of an artist who has turned his efforts into a career. When Brantley isn’t turning his ideas into tangible art in his Chicago studio, he’s exhibiting his work all over the world, making a living through visual art, something he’s been passionate about since childhood.
One key to his success: Multitasking and keeping positive momentum. Brantley has so many ideas that, in order to get them out of his mind and onto a canvas (whether it’s paper, the side of a building or something else entirely), he’s got to work simultaneously on five or six pieces at a time.
