Having just passed the June solstice, the Australian night sky is at its most beautiful.
With the evenings lasting longer and the crisp winter winds blowing away the clouds, the sky has become a playground and Australia’s avid photographers aren’t letting it go to waste.
Photographer Bryan Jones spoke with Mashable Australia about the importance of patience when it comes to capturing images at night.
Getting the photo just right is far from a point-and-shoot exercise. “I find the most difficult thing about shooting the skies during night is trying to get the perfect conditions,” Jones explained. “Having little to no wind and clear dark skies is a very difficult thing to time.” Read more…
