Scott Baio, star of the 1980s sitcom Charles in Charge, is going to say a few words at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.
The invite came from no less than the presumptive Republican nominee himself, Mr. Donald Trump.
Baio gives Trump a bona fide celebrity speaker to join the list of cheerleaders who will sing his praises as he formally assumes the role of the Republican Party’s 2016 presidential candidate.

“I wish that people could meet Donald Trump. I really do,” Baio said in a Sunday interview on Fox News.
“He is such a regular guy. And every time I’ve talked to him and been with him … he’s a guy who is very successful, and that’s one of the things that I hope will connect with millions of Americans.” Read more…
