Netflix picks up rights to 'The People v. O.J. Simpson'

LOS ANGELES — Netflix is giving viewers their crime fix.

The Los Gatos-based streaming giant announced Monday that it’s acquired the rights to 22-time Emmy-nominated FX series The People v. O.J. Simpson.

The 10-episode series — executive produced by Ryan Murphy, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Scott Alexander, Larry Karaszewski and Brad Falchuk — follows the ins and outs of Simpson’s trial.

It stars Cuba Gooding Jr. (as Simpson), Sarah Paulson, David Schwimmer, John Travolta, Courtney B. Vance, Sterling K. Brown, Nathan Lane, Kenneth Choi, Christian Clemenson and Bruce Greenwood.
