Have you ever wanted to carry your cat in your pocket all day in a not-weird way?

Japanese artist Hiroko Kubota‘s archives of custom-made shirts feature hundreds of different cats emerging from pockets via meticulous embroidery.

According to Spoon & Tamago, Kutoba started making the shirts because her son was slim and had trouble fitting into store-bought clothes. She started adding cats to the shirts after her son, a big fan of internet cats, requested it.

When a photo of one of her creations started going viral online, she opened an Etsy shop where she would custom-make orders. On Etsy, the garments reportedly went for up to $300. Read more…
