LAS VEGAS — The makers of the Gogoro’s smart scooter, a smartphone-connected electric scooter that debuted on the roads of Taipei last year, have unveiled how they plan to choose the next cities to bring the scooter.
The company, which unveiled its scooter at last year’s International CES, introduced a new initiative that will take the feedback of prospective customers into account when making plans for its expansion. Gogoro also unveiled an update for those who already have their scooters: home charging stations and the ability to lock and unlock them from your iPhone, Android smartphone or Apple Watch.
