20th Century Fox teased The Martian VR Experience on the Samsung Gear VR last fall, but now it’s launching the real deal. The studio is debuting a fully interactive experience designed for high-end VR headsets.
Based on the Matt Damon blockbuster, The Martian VR Experience puts viewers (players?) in the space boots of astronaut Mark Watney (Damon’s character), where they’ll be able to fly over the service of Mars, steer through space in zero-G and drive a Mars rover, among other things. The whole thing lasts about 15-20 minutes.
