LONDON — There are some places in Britain that are so confusingly-named that most British people don’t know how to pronounce them right.
To tie in with the 150th anniversary of the naming of Europe’s longest place name — a village in Wales called Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch — custom map platform Mapiful teamed up with the British Institute of Verbatim Reporters to put together a list of the most commonly mispronounced places in the UK.
