A schnauzer stowaway had an impromptu international adventure on a flight from Hong Kong to Japan over the holidays.
The dog reportedly evaded detection until its owner got a text from his mother-in-law: She couldn’t find the animal anywhere in the house in Hong Kong. After landing, the traveler then checked his baggage, after the five-hour flight on Dec. 28, and found the wile canine.
Although the dog spent at least seven hours in total in the suitcase, it was still in good health, according to EJI.
