On Tuesday morning, President Barack Obama announced new executive actions on gun control in front of an audience that included victims of gun violence as well as proponents of gun control, including comedian Amy Schumer.
While plenty of celebrities have joined the cause, for Schumer, it’s personal. In July, an armed man entered a movie theater in Lafayette, Louisiana during a screening of Schumer’s film Trainwreck and opened fire, killing two people and injuring several more
