LONDON — People have once more been evacuated from their homes in Scotland after the River Don burst its banks Friday
Residents in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, were evacuated overnight — given only minutes to leave and move into a local school until the situation is deemed safe for them to return.
Aberdeen Airport has been closed and trains have been stopped between Aberdeen and Dundee, while a number of roads have been shut and motorists warned to only take essential journeys. Police have said some motorists got stuck in their cars on flooded roads. Read more…
