Humans will never stop inventing new ways to actually get people out of bed

Leaving the comfort of a cozy bed is never easy, especially when that snooze button on your alarm is just far too easy to push. But a new alarm called the Ruggie forces sleepy people to physically get out of bed to shut it off — and there’s no snooze button, which actually sounds a bit cruel.

The alarm will only shut off if you rest both of your feet on its memory foam padding for a full three seconds, which means you have to physically get out of bed in order to deactivate the annoying beep. And there’s no snoozing, so simply tapping the alarm won’t work Read more…
