Abe Vigoda died on Jan. 26. The 94-year-old actor’s career spanned over six decades of television and film work — but one of his most memorable gigs was his recurring appearances on Late Night With Conan O’Brien.
O’Brien hosted Late Night from 1994 to 2009, where Vigoda frequently appeared in sketches and parodies, or as versions of himself (including a human eclipse and a Christmas tree). O’Brien — who’s now hosting another late night series — and his sidekick Andy Richter shared fond memories of the late actor before introducing the clip montage for Conan‘s TBS audience.
