LOS ANGELES — Mitú wants young Latino millennials to get political.
The Santa Monica-based digital network announced Thursday that is is partnering with Hispanic civil rights organization National Council of La Raza to “engage and mobilize young Latino voters.” Mashable first reported that the network had plans to dive into 2016 election coverage last month.
The partnership marks the start of mitú’s #WeAreAmerica multiplatform campaign, which is a nonpartisan election initiative.
Mitú, which boasts 6,000-plus Latino creators and more than 100 million global subscribers, will kick off the initiative by helping develop and launch Latinos Vote, a voter registration mobile app. Read more…
