SINGAPORE — Thousands of people across the Southeast Asia region got up bright and early on Wednesday morning to catch a glimpse of a rare solar eclipse.
The occurrence started at 7.20 a.m. local time and peaked at 8.23 a.m., when 87% of the sun was obscured.
